The WFH is proud to announce that the 1st World Bleeding Disorders Registry (WBDR) Data Report will be published this summer. The WBDR Data Report 2018 includes data reported on 1,181 people with hemophilia (PWH) from 29 hemophilia treatment centres (HTCs) who had ethics approval in 2018.
Moving forward, the WBDR continues to expand. As of the end of March 2019 an additional 800 PWH joined the WBDR—bringing enrolment close to 2,000 PWH. These PWH were enrolled from the 50 participating HTCs who now have ethics approval, representing 30 countries.
The success of the WBDR in 2018 is encouraging—and 2019 will bring even more exciting developments. Visit Hemophilia World Online in April to get a link to the complete 1st World Bleeding Disorders Registry (WBDR) Data Report.
