World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) Congresses are known for being friendly, open and inclusive events. The WFH 2020 World Congress will continue this tradition next year by warmly welcoming thousands of people to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from June 14 to 17, 2020. And with so many people coming from around the world, Congress is an opportunity to not only learn, but also to network with colleagues, old friends—and new friends you haven’t met yet.
There will be a number of specialized networking events at the WFH 2020 World Congress. These events are tailored to the needs of specific audiences in order to ensure that like-minded people can come together and talk about shared interests. Why not take part in one? You might just meet a future collaborator or friend.
First timer’s reception
For first time registrants, sponsors and key WFH leadership, the first timer’s reception is the perfect place to meet new attendees and experience a sense of community. After the reception, all first timers will have the chance to take an exclusive VIP tour of the exhibit hall 30 minutes before it opens to the public.
Musculoskeletal coffee meet and greet
Come see what’s brewing with the WFH Musculoskeletal Committee and meet healthcare professionals and students in the field of musculoskeletal medicine, rehabilitation, and treatment. Don’t miss this chance to meet with specialists like you from around the world.
Nurses meet and greet
Join the WFH Nurses Committee during Congress and enjoy this great opportunity to meet your fellow international nurses in the field of hemophilia and other bleeding disorders. Newly graduated nurses will have a chance to meet with experienced nurses from around the world in this event.
Youth leaders meet and greet
This event is designed to engage young adults and give them the chance to have a conversation with inspiring leaders in the world of bleeding disorders. Let your voice be heard, and learn the kind invaluable advice that only comes from face-to-face chats.
VWD and women and bleeding disorders meet and greet
For the first time at Congress, the VWD and the Women with Bleeding Disorders committees will host a morning meet and greet for those participants who wish to discuss their issues and concerns in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Psychosocial meet and greet
Please join the WFH Psychosocial committee to connect with friends and meet fellow psychosocial healthcare professionals from around the world. Learn about—and share—knowledge related to the psychosocial aspects of living with a bleeding disorder.
Additional networking opportunities for different profiles will be added closer to the Congress date.
