The World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) and a strategic alliance of 27 WFH national member organizations (NMOs) working as the Coalition of the Americas (CoA) met in October for the First Summit of the Americas. The objective of the gathering was to develop a declaration on how to best support the care of people with hemophilia and other bleeding disorders in Latin America.
The result of summit has been published as the “Declaration of Panama Cityon Integrated Care for the Quality of Life of the People with Hemophilia and Other Inherited Bleeding Disorders (PWHIBD).” The text can be read in Spanish here, and in English here.
