Latifa Lahmene receives the 2020 WFH International Frank Schnabel Volunteer Award

Established in 2004 in honor of the founder of the WFH, the International Frank Schnabel Volunteer Award is given to an individual with an inherited bleeding disorder or to a family member who has contributed significantly in furthering the mission and goals of the WFH.

This year, the WFH has selected Latifa Lahmene as the winner of this award because of her tireless work on behalf of patients in Algeria and across the Middle East and Africa. Her generous contributions of time, energy, and expertise are a shining example of the spirit instilled in our community by the founder of the WFH. She is a most deserving recipient of this prestigious award.

On behalf of all the members of the bleeding disorders community, thank you, Ms. Latifa Lahmene!
