On Thursday, September 17, at 10:00 a.m. EDT, the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) will host a 60-minute webinar about the WFH Twinning Program. The COVID-19 pandemic and resulting lockdowns have impacted twins around the world, necessitating changes to activities and the cancellation of events. This session will provide an opportunity for twins to share information with one another, learn how different teams are coping with the new realities in their countries, and provide concrete tips on what type of activities could still be undertaken for Hemophilia Organization Twins (HOT), Hemophilia Treatment Centre Twins (HTC), and Youth Group Twins.

This webinar will be moderated by Deniece Chevannes, Chair of the HOT Twinning Committee. Speakers will include Patricia Silva, MD (Mozambique), Yuri Zhulyov (Russia), and Santosh Manivannan (India). Stephanie Pineda, Program Coordinator, will provide participants with Twinning Program highlights.

We encourage you to submit questions in advance by emailing the WFH at [email protected], no later than Friday, September 11, 2020. Participants can also ask questions during the session and presenters will try their best—time permitting—to answer.
