The WFH 2020 Annual Report has just been published, and it shows how the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) continued working towards the vision of Treatment for All last year despite the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. By collaborating with partners, healthcare practitioners (HCPs), our global network of national member organizations (NMOs), and other stakeholders, the WFH continued representing the interests of people with hemophilia and other inherited bleeding disorders in 147 countries. “[The pandemic made us adapt more quickly than we have ever done before,” explains Alain Baumann, WFH CEO. “Even if different than initially planned, we delivered and often surpassed the goals we had set before the pandemic began.”

2020 also marked the end of the tenure of Alain Weill as President of the WFH. The WFH would like to thank Alain Weill for his work with the WFH, and welcome Cesar Garrido, who was voted in as President at the 2020 Annual Meeting of the General Assembly on October 16, 2020.
