Experience international culture and many surprises at the world famous Epcot on July 26 during the host country networking reception.
One of the highlights of any WFH World Congress is the host country networking reception. This event is a great opportunity for local and international attendees to get to know each other better. It’s also a chance for attendees to learn from their colleagues about how bleeding disorders are being managed in different countries.
On July 26, the host country networking reception will be held at the world famous Epcot®. Part of Walt Disney World Resort, and less than 13 miles (20 km) from the Orange County Convention Center, Epcot® has been described as a “Permanent World’s Fair.” At 300 acres (120 hectares), it’s twice the size of the Magic Kingdom and welcomes over 10 million guests a year.
Epcot® exists to celebrate human achievement. It offers visitors two main areas: Future World and World Showcase. Future World is made up of a number of self-contained attractions based on technology and science, while the World Showcase is built around 11 pavilions, each themed on a specific country. The host country networking reception will focus on Epcot’s® World ShowPlace Pavilion.
Participating in this networking reception could not be any easier. Buses will depart from the Orange County Convention Center for this special social event at 18:00 following the last concurrent sessions. At the end of “IllumiNations”—a thrilling extravaganza for your senses—buses will return guests from Epcot® to the official Congress hotels. In order to fully enjoy the evening in the hot and humid Florida climate, the Congress Organizing Committee encourages participants to dress comfortably.
Don’t miss this opportunity to experience Epcot for yourself this July.
