Tomorrow, the WFH will be hosting a session on sharing personal and patient organization experiences on the theme of youth collaboration called “Youth Collaboration in Action: Sharing of personal and organizational experiences”. Youths, NMO youth groups and their members, patients, NMOs and foundation members are all invited.
During this session, young people with bleeding disorders will learn from the experiences of their peers around the world and will have the opportunity to share their own thoughts and ideas about the importance of collaboration with the organizations they work with. Participants will also learn about the WFH Youth Leadership Program and how to navigate Congress. They will be able to share their ideas on what other youth initiatives and activities should be developed by the WFH to meet the needs of youths in the bleeding disorders community.
The goal of the session is to help youth understand why collaboration and cooperation are important, to provide them with opportunities for sharing of experiences, challenges and best practices, and to inspire and encourage fellow young people with bleeding disorders to become more involved in their community.
“Youth Collaboration in Action: Sharing of personal and organizational experiences” takes place on Sunday, May 20 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., in the Forth Room, SEC Armadillo (not the SEC Centre).
