The World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) 2018 World Congress is an event with much to offer participants. It will be hosted in Glasgow, a warm and inviting city, and will feature a rich program of engaging presentations, and ample opportunity to network with colleagues.
The Congress is also a great way for participants to gain exclusive access to a wealth of resources—including print publications that can be taken home after Congress. Here are some highlights of what participants can expect to enjoy at the WFH 2018 World Congress in Glasgow, Scotland, this May.
Professional development sessions and workshops
Be part of the professional development sessions, workshops and information exchanges that will expand the knowledge and experience of participants at this year’s Congress. Here are three sessions of note:
WFH resource centre
The WFH Resource Centre will offer participants a wealth of educational materials, addressing a wide variety of topics important to the bleeding disorders community. Well-located in the exhibit hall, it’s a great place to find insightful resources in six languages, check out the expanding WFH eLearning Platform and its online resources, and chat with like-minded people.
WFH smartphone app
Anyone with a smartphone or tablet will be able to use the WFH app to get the most out of their Congress experience this May. The mobile app allows you to browse the complete scientific program by day and topic, create your own personal program, connect with other event attendees, view abstracts and e-posters, and even view the Congress floor plans.
WFH eLearning Platform
Accessible from your computer or mobile device, the WFH eLearning platform offers a wealth of information for the bleeding disorders community. Download PDFs of the extensive WFH collection of educational resources, or visit new online resources, including interactive learning modules, panel discussion videos, and much more. Attendees can also stop by the WFH Resource Centre and use one of the WFH computers there to search the platform and chat with the knowledgeable staff about the resources.
