WFH 2018 World Congress at the SEC: easy to get to, easy to get around

The World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) 2018 World Congress will be held this May at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow Scotland. The SEC is a world class facility that welcomes millions of visitors every year. It’s also a facility that was designed with social responsibility in mind. For example, the SEC only uses electricity generated by renewable sources and reduces energy wastage by employing energy efficiency technologies.

The WFH took full advantage of the layout of the SEC in order to make getting around the WFH 2018 World Congress easy. Most of the rooms for the various events are in one of the halls in the SEC Centre near the exhibit hall. Meeting rooms not in the SEC Centre are in nearby buildings, either in the Crowne Plaza or in the SEC Armadillo which are all connected by indoor walkways.

If you’re staying at an official WFH hotel, you’ll be able to get to the Congress easily. The SEC is located just outside Glasgow city centre and is very accessible by car, bus, and train—the facility even has its own train station. Once inside, getting around is simple, as every hall is on the ground level, and in general everything is very wheelchair-friendly.

So, book your ticket and get ready to experience the WFH 2018 World Congress this May!
