Deon York, Lay member, WFH Board of Directors, moderated a session yesterday called, “What does quality of life mean to you? Living with (an inherited) bleeding disorder in a changing world”. The session looked at what quality of life means for a person living with a bleeding disorder. This question is especially important given the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Nathalie Roussel discussed mental health and how it correlates with chronic conditions. Cathy Harrison went over the nurse’s perspective of quality of life for bleeding disorders patients, while Lauren Phillips covered the patient’s perspective. Randall Curtis spoke about the age disparity of quality of life measures.
